@b658b96be8714989bb35623919df784c:disqus Agreed.  A person can live without food for 30 days, she can easily live without a license for 30, without any deep introspection or meaningful change in her life.  I’d say at least 1 year loss of license, better 5 years.  Lifetime loss… Oh to dream. 

Probably the type of person who will drive with a suspended license.

Two days holding a sign and a 30 day suspension for driving on the sidewalk??  Hahahahahahaha – why didn’t the judge just give her a case of beer.  Talk about a slap on the wrist.  What would it have taken to merit a serious punishment – dead bodies strewn all over? This so called unorthodox punishment is less than a slap on the wrist.

I wonder how big the sign she will be wearing?

The sign should say “I am attempted child murderer.”

Hahaha! That’s the difference between being tempted and actually doing something that is unbelivably stupid!

We have to remember that most of the “people in power”, in most parts of the US, whether council members, legislators or judges, are motor vehicle users, and would look upon having their licenses suspended or revoked and/or having their cars impounded as (to quote from a comment on another driver) equivalent to being “under house arrest”.  Taking a bus or riding a bike may not even cross their minds as alternatives to driving.
