For decades, through democratic and republican administrations we have failed to fund our nation's infrastructure needs. Now as we are find ourselves with a crumbling infrastructure we are struggling with a huge national debt and many pressing issues. However we must take a deep breath and communicate to all involved that investment in our infrastructure is the prudent thing to do. Tough for a politician to do, but the right thing for our security and our economic well being. This is what happens when you continually push the problem ‘down the road” until you go off the cliff.
